When Peter Boizot opened the first PizzaExpress doors in Wardour Street, London in 1965, a culture of passion for Italian food and dining was born.
Over 360 restaurants later, this passion lives on as we continue to serve fantastic food in our vibrant, busy restaurants. We're still enjoying the lively, welcoming atmosphere that our customers love too. We care about our customers and make eating at PizzaExpress an experience - not just a meal.

Pizzaiolo/Chef
Using the best and freshest ingredients, you'll produce great tasting food that our customers will come back for. And, in true Italian style, working in an open kitchen, you'll play a part in creating a sociable atmosphere.
Don't worry if you haven't had any formal training as a chef. As long as you've had some experience in a catering environment and have a genuine love of food, we'll give you all the training you need. In return you should be enthusiastic about what you do, and willing to learn. You should also be able to work under pressure - our kitchens can get very busy!
Waiters
From families to couples, first dates to anniversaries - PizzaExpress is the place where friends and families meet and conversations flow over great food. So it's our job to make sure each and every customer enjoys an experience - not just a meal.
Our waiters care about the details that make a great experience, and take pride and a genuine interest in our food. You can bring something extra to the service to delight our customers and by delivering outstanding service you will make your job more enjoyable too. You're a real people person, and we'd like you to be yourself!
